October 23, 2025, 1pm CT When Healthcare Hurts: Supporting Colleagues Through Grief Presenters: Hui-wen Sato MSN, MPH, RN, CCRN, Hadley Bloomhardt, MD, and Sarah Eastland Tremallo, MSW, LICSW We are humans doing some of the most human work in pediatric nursing. We play a key role in the stories of our patients’ illness journeys, and our own stories are inevitably shaped along the way. In this webinar, we will discuss the oft-neglected reality of our experience with grief as healthcare workers. We will identify common barriers to healthy processing of our grief in the healthcare context and discuss practical ways to support one another through grief in both the short- and long-term. Attendees will have an opportunity to explore their own stories and reflect on the hard and beautiful aspects of doing this work. Outcome: 85% of participants will be able to incorporate strategies to process grief and support into their practice based on the knowledge gained in the webinar Continuing Education: Society of Pediatric Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
